An event every week that begins at 6:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday, repeating until April 27, 2017
As seen in The Leadville Herald:
The High School Equivalency prep classes at CMC in Leadville use small-group and individualized instruction, in English or Spanish, to prepare students to successfully complete the GED, HiSET or TASC tests.
Classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6:30-9 p.m. at CMC’s Learning Assistance Center in the Pinnacle Resource Center (library, room 325). The cost is $75 per semester. Students can join the class at any time.
The GED test is made up of four parts — language arts, math, science and social studies. With the cost of tuition, CMC includes tutoring options and individual learning plans for each subject area. Students can work during the day with tutors in the Learning Assistance Center.
The actual GED tests are priced separately, and are offered at CMC in Dillon and Edwards. Students can take practice tests at www.gedtestingservice.com.
To register for classes, call Kelli McCall at 719-486-4207 or see Laurie Eanes in the New Discovery Building at CMC. Call or email McCall at email@example.com with any questions.
