The Watershed

A solid foundation in land navigation is essential for hikers, peak baggers, mountaineers, skiers, and anyone who enjoys traveling in the backcountry. Become proficient at using your map and compass. Plan your route and “stay found” in mountainous terrain. This class culminates with an orienteering skills challenge where students compete against the clock and each other to find a series of waypoints. A fun way to put all of your new skills to the test and find out how much you learned!
